I've decided to add a new section to the blog called 'The bucket list'. Focusing mainly on places that you should write down on your list of one day visiting. I feel i'm a little travel bug that so far has seen a few places but like you still have a few more destinations that i would like to go and see. There is just something about going off and experience a new destination and taking in the culture of that place. My list is growing by the day as i have discovered new places on other blogs and pinterest doesn't help either. As now there is the added edition of Vietnam.
Why has Vietnam come up now recently my friend has asks me would i be interested in going here especially Phu Quoc island. I was told to check it out and discovered that phu quoc is an vietnamese island off the coast of cambodia in the gulf of Thailand. It's known for white-sand beaches and resorts, most of which are along the palm-lined southwest coast. Really how could i say no to that! Unfortunately it won't be until next year but the months are flying in that it'll be around the corner before you know it. In the meantime why not enjoy my piece that i have put together about the island and maybe you'll add it to your list to tick it off.
Phu quoc is 1 of 12 districts located in kien giang province which is situated in the mekong delta in the south western tip of vietnam. The provincial capital of kien giang province is rach gia and the major main town is ha tien. Kien giang province has 200 km's of caostline and 105 island/islets.
Located in the gulf of thailand, phu quoc district has a total of 28 islands equaling 593 square kilometers. The district consits of phu quoc island (6 islands), the an thoi archipelago (15 islands), and tho chua (7 islands).
Hope you enjoy the piece!
